QUALIFICATION FOR ENTRY
Novice – Confined to dogs which have not gained a place or certificate of merit at a Field Trial, been placed first, second or third in an Open Working Test, or first place in a Novice Working Test held in accordance with Kennel Club Rules and Field Trial Regulations. Open - Open to all A.V. Retrievers.

As a small club we do struggle for helpers to steward or throw dummies, if you have some spare time and could come and help us for a day or half day it would be very much appreciated and if you participate in Working Tests, we will give you a free entry for the next test we run. Please contact the Working Test Secretary if you are available, she will be most grateful.

Puppy – Confined to all dogs over the age of 6 months and less than 18 months on the day of the test.
Novice Dog/Novice Handler (Unclassified) - Confined to dog and handler who have never won any award, including CoM in a Field Trial, a first, second, third, or fourth place in an Open Working Test, or have won a first place in any other other Working Test.
